  1. CLOSED - No Household Hazardous Waste Collection

    December 14, 2019, All Day

    The SATURDAY Household Hazardous Waste Collections are CLOSED for the season. Please call 734-222-3950 to schedule a weekday drop-off appointment. Please allow at least 48 business hours advance notice to schedule an appointment. The Home Toxics Reduction Program provides Washtenaw County residents with a disposal option for flammable, poisonous, toxic and corrosive materials. Regular collection events are held the first three Saturdays of the month, April through November 9 a.m. to noon, except for holiday weekends.

  1. Santa & Friends Series - Pancakes with Santa

    December 14, 2019, 9:00 AM - 12:15 PM @ Rolling Hills County Park

    Families are encouraged to come enjoy a delightful pancake breakfast (fresh off the griddle), including a delicious pancake bar—filled with blueberries, chocolate syrup and so much more! Top it all off with some yummy hot chocolate! After bellies are full, children can attend a meet and greet with Santa! Make sure you bring your camera to capture the moment with a picture. All children attending this event will walk away with a goody bag and a take-home craft!

  2. Nature Explorers: Signs of Winter

    December 14, 2019, 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM @ Burns-Stokes Preserve

    Put your nature eyes to the test as we explore through the preserve in search of winter’s many wonders! This program is led by Kelsey Dehring. For kids 5-6 years old.   3. Stewardship Saturday

    *** MEET AT THE MEDFORD PAVILION*** Join us the second Saturday of every month to help the environment, meet like-minded people, be active, and explore. Volunteers have been improving the oak hickory woodland of Britton Woods for several years and we will be continuing their efforts at this workday. Please dress for the weather and be prepared for working off-trail. We will be meeting on the west side of County Farm Park at the Medford Pavilion. Led by Katie Carlisle.
