  2. Junior Naturalist: Color Crazy

    March 23, 2019, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Whitmore Lake Preserve

Wildlife can be found in a wide range of colors, and these colors help them survive. Sometimes the colors we see aren’t actually the true color of the animal. Did you know that a blue jay isn’t actually blue? But how? Join Naturalist, Kelsey Dehring, as we answer these questions and search for colorful, and some not so colorful, creatures. For kids 7 – 12 years old. Pre-registration required, 12 children per program. To register your child, visit parksonline.ewashtenaw.org (Registration #831004, Section A).

Hike will end with a tea ceremony. This guided movement meditation will be led by Julie Woodward, MA, MSW. Julie is a meditation and yoga instructor, U of M Health Educator, and Co-founder of Mindful City Ann Arbor. ***WE'LL MEET AT THE MEDFORD RD PAVILION***
