ANN ARBOR FOLK FESTIVAL
The Annual Ann Arbor Folk Festival, a fundraiser for the Ark, will celebrate its 31st year with some of the finest in traditional and contemporary artists. The Festival returns for two dynamic and different nights of folk and roots music. In keeping with the Festival's longstanding reputation, each night will feature a blend of renowned and up-and-coming performers, providing audiences with the opportunity to hear popular artists working at the top of their field while discovering terrific new talent. Friday evening will feature Ben Folds as headliner and a host of artists who are known for pushing the boundaries of their art and bringing a progressive sound to the folk music scene. Saturday night will delve into the heart of folk and roots traditions showcasing styles well known to folk and roots audiences. Follow the fantastic Chinese Lion's Dance as it weaves it's way through the Main Street area. Begins at the AA District Library on the corner of Fifth and William. MICHIGAN ELVISFEST
Who could possibly be a more independent spirit than The King? For two special days, the hip-gyrating young Elvis, the smooth-toned middle years Elvis, and the later Las Vegas Elvis all converge in Ypsilanti¹s Riverside Park to spark images and memories of a bygone time when girls wore poodle skirts and cars were truly a sight to behold. So, put on your blue suede shoes and come on down!

HURON RIVER DAY
The traditional Huron River Day festival will be kicked off with a 5K run and a one-mile fun run, which will be followed by a dog walk.
